About Us

We are Kevin and Carolyn Bean, the owners of this beautiful piece of Welsh countryside and a small herd of goats. Together we are slowly creating a place for our goats to live alongside an increasing population of wildlife.

Bryn Geifr is about 300m above sea level and has fantastic views across to the Brecon Beacons, including Pen y Fan which is the highest peak in South Wales. It had been grazed by sheep for many years by the previous owners, but looking a little further back in its history, had been used for grazing cows and making hay.

Our small herd currently consist of two types of goats: Boers, a meat breed and a Toggenburg and a Golden Guernsey type for milking. I hope that one day I will be able to add some Angoras for fibre too!

We make butter, cheese and yoghurt from the milk for our household, and also soap which we sell at local markets and soon to be available online in our Etsy shop!
